Heathcote Winery Tours

Heathcote’s rich Cambrian soil combined with a warm summer climate and  cool southerly breezes create a unique grape growing environment for local vignerons. The complex and elegant fruit-driven wines this region is producing are enjoying increasing awareness among wine lovers everywhere.   Some believe that the wines produced in this deep rich soil is producing some of the best Shiraz, not only in Victoria, but in the country.

Once a bustling gold mining town, Heathcote has some fabulous architecture housing galleries and restaurants.  Some of the region’s finest local produce including olives, preserves, relishes and chutneys made from local fruit and vegetables and a selection of bush and native foods which are becoming synonymous with this region.
