Let us take you touring to two of Australia’s premier wine growing regions – Day one we will tour the beautiful Yarra Valley. This glorious valley surrounded by rolling hills and nurtured by the Yarra River, produces a remarkable array of exemplary cool-climate wines and regional produce. Amid undulating panoramas of vineyards and fertile farmland lie fifty-five cellar doors of some of the world’s finest wineries alongside some brilliant family-owned and boutique wineries, awaiting your discovery. We will take you to a selection of some of the finest of these for tastings, including Domaine Chandon, where you will enjoy a full flute of sparkling while relaxing and overlooking the vines. A sumptuous lunch is served for you at one of these wineries and includes a glass of wine and tea and coffee.
At the end of this day, we will bring you with us to the Macedon Ranges and your accommodation in a specially selected B&B, where your own chef will prepare a wonderful meal accompanied by a complimentary bottle of wine from us. After a sleep in and your breakfast the following morning, we will pick you up and take you touring. The Macedon Ranges has rich volcanic soils and incredible natural rock formations like the mysterious Hanging Rock. Nestled among the surrounding hills are some of the finest cool climate grapes grown in Victoria, producing many award winning wines. There are over 30 vineyards and 20 cellar doors along with fantastic regional produce, restaurants, a brew house, café’s, galleries, gardens and more. Today we will take you to a selection of these wineries and enjoy a wonderful lunch at one of our favourites.
We will then have you back in Melbourne by around 5.30pm
