Sunbury’s unique geography of deep valleys and rolling hills provides stunning scenery and a great variety of soils for local winemakers. It’s warm climate and low rainfall produces some luscious wines. Sunbury Shiraz has become renowned for it’s great balance, length and savoury elements.
The Sunbury region is home to around 20 wineries and many have cellar doors and restaurants housed in historic bluestone buildings. Sunbury is only 15 minutes from Melbourne Airport but its rolling hills and historic buildings make you feel miles away…
During the day we will visit 4-5 of Sunbury and the Macedon Ranges finest wineries including Craiglee, Galli Estate, Longview Creek and Wildwood, Witchmount Estate, Gisborne Peak, Fentonviews and Andraos Brothers Wines.
